Hi Humans,

Don't be shy. If you want to comment on my blog entries, please do so. You don't have to be a dog to say what you think. or if you have a pet dog and want to have your dog speak for you, that's also OK. I would like to hear from you or your dog.

Gun Bullies Need Psychiatric Care

Hi Humans,
The gun bullies need big guns to feel important. We dogs do not feel so lacking in self worth that we need guns to make up for it. Maybe we should send the gun bullies to mental institutions so they can be cured of their addiction to guns. Why should the rest of us creatures live in harms way to indulge the inadequacies of gun bullies and the NRA?

Hooray for Gabby Giffords

Hi Humans,
Hooray for Gabby Giffords for standing up to the NRA and the other gun bullies. This brave congresswoman has suffered the effects of a screwball who could get a gun easily because of lax gun laws. Humans, you can get rid of those cowardly congressmen and senators who seem to be more beholden to the gun bullies than to the American people, most of whom support better gun control.

Gun Shooting at Maryland Mall

Hi Humans,
The breaking news today is that a gun man opened fire at a shopping mall in Columbia, Maryland. The result was 3 dead humans including the gun shooter. In the news they said the motive still has not been determined. Motive? Isn't it always the same? A screwball gets a thing in his head about wanting to kill people. So he goes to a gun show or online or the toy store or wherever and buys a gun. It's too easy! As long as the USA has lax gun laws, this madness will occur again and again. Humans! It's time to stand up to the NRA and other gun bullies. Don't let them do this to you. Vote out the politicians whom they buy. Replace them with humans who look out for your safety with stronger gone laws.

Humans with Power

Hi Humans,
Some of the strangest humans are people in powerful political positions. For example, take the governor of New Jersey. He (or at least the people working immediately under him) actually closed down a bridge leading to a city to take vengeance on the mayor of that city for disobedience to his wishes. This was not only arrogant and mean but stupid as well. Where were those big human brains?
Now just today the news broke about the former governor of Virginia and his wife taking expensive bribes from the CEO of some corporation who needed favors from the state.
Then there have been numerous examples of politicians engaging in all kinds of extra-marital sexual affairs, and often from the very same politicians who pretend to represent the most conservative mores and hypocritically castigate people who stray from the narrow path.
Now, not all politicians are such loose cannons, but what makes the ones who act out do so? Perhaps power blinds those people to the reality of their limitations. They are so enclosed in their own political circle that they don't realize they are under the spotlight.
Oh well, I am not a psychologist. I'm just a dog.

Humans Who Won't Accept Responsibility for the Mess They Created

Hi Humans,
Many of you humans have this habit of creating a mess and then claiming that your opponent created the mess and you have to oppose every effort to remedy the mess because your obstinence will somehow bring a solution. For example, look at the Republican Congress. The Republicans destroyed the American economy by spending big dollars on a war in the wrong place (Iraq), and paying for the war by borrowing instead of taxing. Now they oppose the extension of unemployment insurance for people who lost their jobs since the Republican debacle.
